Dee Dee Harper

Herding roosters, but never a lemming. Managing Ellis-Harper advertising, probably not unlike managing most ad agencies, is as much about coaching the team as fretting over the balance sheet. I’ve never been motivated by how much we made. We do okay and make the payroll. We’re stable and well-capitalized even though much of what we make goes back in to keep us on the cutting edge of equipment and technologies. We pay our clients’ bills and our own, on time. We have a sterling reputation with our vendors, the media and our bankers. I believe now as always, that good clients follow good work and loyalty to their products and services. This is a hard business. The idea is still the thing. And if it weren’t, I wouldn’t love this business the way I do nor would I have devoted my professional life to shepherding Ellis-Harper Advertising, and our team of great people, clients and vendor partners.
